Volunteer Spotlight

Our Basic Skills Lab celebrated our wonderful volunteer Al Palmer whose last day with us was Thursday. Al brought many hours to Cherry Street, helped numerous guests with reading, math, computer skills, passing GED exams and most importantly with encouragement. Al was recognized as our Volunteer of the Year in 2018 for his dedication to helping the men and women we serve and also supporting our ministry by bringing new ideas and lending his skill sets as a retired psychologist and professor. We pray blessings over Al and his family!

If you are interested in being a part of this great team, please contact our volunteer department at 419.214.3357 or at volunteer@cherrystreetmission.org.

A generous friend of Cherry Street has issued a $500,000 Matching Challenge to effectively DOUBLE the value of any gift you can send to impact TWICE as many lives in our care.

Thank you so much volunteers for all you do, your support and always giving yourselves to serve others here at Cherry Street. You are all appreciated so much!
