Lifelong Toledo native, Robbin, has a lot to say about his life, his faith, and Cherry Street Mission Ministries. And it’s all encouraging!

“CS has kept me in my faith and hope. Through their support I’ve been able to maintain my faith even though I went through it for a while. But I believe in the Word of God that states, ‘All things happen for good.’

Robbin also has a unique perspective on homelessness having been there and now on the other side as a volunteer. “I see CSMM changing the definition of homelessness to displaced. I find with everything being available through community partners it’s easier for someone who is displaced. They can achieve different goals to get their feet back under themselves.”

And that is what Robbin has been able to do as a volunteer and Bible study leader. Helping people like Robbin get back on their feet is what your donations help us do. Your support has transformed a life like Robbin’s who in turn is changing the lives of more people coming to Cherry Street for help.  Robbin was Hungry For Change in himself.  And now he is helping others discover a hunger for more in themselves and helping Cherry Street in Feeding Futures.  As he explained, “This is the second commandment CSMM is carrying out when it says to love your neighbor as yourself. CSMM and its community partners have taken the position to minister one another through the community.”
