At Cherry Street Thrift, every gift makes the biggest possible impact. Whether it meets a guest’s immediate needs or is sold to fund services like meals and safe shelter, every item you donate will be put to good use!
What We Accept
Clothing & Shoes
Gently used, clean apparel for all ages
Household Items
Kitchenware, dishes, linens and everyday home essentials
Small Appliances
Clean, working appliances like toasters, mixers and coffee makers
Toys & Games
Complete puzzles, toys and games in good condition
Books & Media
Books, VHS/DVDs, CDs and vinyl records
Seasonal Decor
Holiday decorations for indoor or outdoor
We kindly ask that all donations are clean and in gently used, working condition!

We’re unable to offer donation pickup at this time. Please bring accepted items to one of our donation drop-off locations during posted opening hours.
Yes! Donation receipts are available for your records when you drop off accepted items. Please see our Thrift Store staff for assistance.

To avoid any damage or misplaced items, we ask that you please drop off your donations during posted opening hours.
Yes! Items that meet immediate needs – like clothing, coats, shoes, bedding and hygiene products – will always be given directly to our guests. Other items are sold, helping to fund Cherry Street’s programs and services that make new beginnings possible for the men and women we serve.
100% of Thrift Store proceeds go right back into Cherry Street – providing meals, shelter, hygiene products, job training and other essential services. Thrift Store profits are a supplement, not a replacement to direct support. It bridges the gap when donated items don’t perfectly match current needs.
