Where Every Gift and Purchase Serves a Purpose

At Cherry Street Thrift, every donation and purchase helps create greater impact for the people we serve –
today and for the future.

Meets Immediate Needs

If an item meets a guest’s needs, it’s given to them directly. Other items are sold, helping to fund essential meals, safe housing and care.

Creates Flexible Support

Proceeds from sales help address guests’ real-time needs – purchasing items like medical supplies or specific clothing sizes.

Builds Future Stability

Thrift sales are a steady stream of support for our community... and our store offers career focused training and even employment to help guests launch into a stable life.

The odds and ends you no longer need could help someone else begin again. And when you shop at our store, your purchases help fund fresh starts too!

You can multiply the impact of your donated items through this special giving opportunity: Corners of Your Field. When you donate, simply share the name of your church or organization with us. In turn, they’ll receive gift cards to our Thrift Store, which can be shared with people in need.

How it works

    1. Collect and donate gently used household
      items to Cherry Street Thrift.
    2. When donating, share the name of your
      church or organization.
    3. Each quarter, your group receives gift cards to
      Cherry Street Thrift.
    4. You can share these gift cards with individuals and families in need in your community.

And you may be eligible for a tax deduction!
Ask us about receiving a donation receipt for
your records.
